Who is eligible for the OET Digital Badge?
If you took the OET test on or after August 31st, 2019 and achieved a B or higher in all four sub-tests (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) in a single test sitting, you’re eligible for the OET Gold Standard Badge. Unfortunately, individual sub-test badges are no longer issued.
How to Claim Your OET Digital Badge:
The process is refreshingly simple! Here’s what to expect:
- Automatic Email Notification: Approximately 7 days after your OET test results are published, you’ll receive an email from OET via Acclaim/Credly (their digital credentialing partner). Make sure to check your inbox and spam folder for this email.
- Claiming Your Badge: The email will contain instructions on claiming your badge. The process is straightforward and shouldn’t take more than a few minutes.
- Downloading and Sharing: Once claimed, you can download your badge to your device or share it directly on social media platforms like LinkedIn.
Pro Tip: You can also set up an auto-claim feature within your Acclaim/Credly profile. This ensures any future badges issued to you will be automatically claimed and displayed on your profile.
